If you are our customer, newsletter subscriber or website visitor, you are entrusting us with your personal data. We are responsible for their protection and security. Please become familiar with the personal data protection policies and rights you have in relation to the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
We are Fit Academy s.r.o., Kaprova 42/14, Prague 1, 110 00, Company ID No. 088 73 933 and we manage:
We process your personal data as a controller, i.e. we determine how the personal data will be processed and for what purpose, for how long and we select any other processors who will assist us with processing.
If you wish to contact us during the processing, you can contact us by calling +420 605 557 787 or by e-mail: info@fitacademy.cz.
We process the personal data that you entrust to us for the following reasons (to fulfil these purposes):
We need your personal data - in the scope of e-mail, phone, address, photo - for the performance of the contract (e.g. sending accesses to the application, sending the contract, enabling access to the club, etc.) or for the potential delivery of goods.
If you are a customer, we need your personal data (billing data) to comply with the legal obligation to issue and record tax documents, including the provision of your data to payment solution providers (payment gateway, etc.)
We use your personal data - e-mail and name, gender, what you click on in the e-mail and when you open it most often - for direct marketing purposes: sending you commercial communications. If you are a customer, we do this out of legitimate interest, as we reasonably assume that you are interested in our newsletter, for a period of 10 years from your last order.
If you are not our customer, we only send you newsletters based on your consent, for a period of 10 years from the date of granting consent. In either case, you may withdraw this consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any e-mail sent to you.
Only with your consent, we may also send you inspirational offers from third parties or use your e-mail address for e.g. remarketing and ad targeting on Facebook, for a period of 10 years from the date of granting consent. This can of course be withdrawn at any time via our contact details.
For the purpose of promotion of live events and reports from these events, we process your photos or video from these events. Photos are also necessary for your identification during automated entry to the club.
We retain your personal data for the duration of the limitation periods, unless the law provides for a longer retention period, or we have specified otherwise in specific cases.
When you browse our website, we record your IP address, how long you stay on the site and which page you come from. We see the use of cookies to measure website traffic and to customize website display as a legitimate interest of the controller, as we believe this allows us to offer you an even better service.
Advertising targeting cookies will only be processed with your consent.
Our website can also be browsed in a mode that does not allow the collection of personal data. You can disable the use of cookies on your computer.
We protect personal data to the maximum extent possible by using modern, state of the art technologies. We protect them as if they were our own. We have adopted and maintain all possible (currently known) technical and organisational measures to prevent the misuse, damage or destruction of your personal data.
Your personal data can be accessed by our employees and associates.
To ensure specific processing operations that we cannot provide on our own, we use the services and applications of processors who can protect data even better than we do and specialize in the processing in question.
They are the providers of the following platforms:
It is possible that in the future we may decide to use other applications or processors to facilitate and improve the quality of processing. However, we promise you that in such a case, we will place at least the same demands for security and quality of processing on the processor as we do on ourselves.
We only process data in the European Union or in countries that provide an adequate level of protection based on a decision of the European Commission.
You have a number of rights in relation to data protection. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us by e-mail: info@fitacademy.cz.
You have the right to information, which is already fulfilled by means of this information page with the personal data processing policy.
Thanks to the right of access, you can ask us at any time, and we will provide you with information about what personal data we are processing and why within 14 days.
If something changes or you find your personal data to be outdated or incomplete, you have the right to have your personal data completed and amended.
You can exercise your right to restriction of processing if you believe that we process your data inaccurately, if you believe that we process them unlawfully, but you do not want to delete all the data, or if you object to processing. You can limit the scope of personal data or the purposes of processing. (For example, by unsubscribing from the newsletter you limit the purpose of processing for sending commercial communications.)
If you would like to take your personal data and transfer them to another party, we will follow the same process as for exercising the right of access - except that we will send you the information in machine-readable form.
Another right you have is the right to erasure (to be forgotten). We do not want to forget you, but if you wish to do so, you have the right to do so. In this case, we will erase all your personal data from our systems and from the systems of all sub-processors and backups. We need 30 days to secure the right to erasure.
In some cases, we are bound by a legal obligation and, for example, have to keep records of issued tax documents for the period stipulated by law. In this case, we will therefore delete all such personal data that are not bound by another law. We will inform you by e-mail when the deletion is completed.
If you feel that we are not treating your data in accordance with the law, you have the right to contact the Office for Personal Data Protection at any time with your complaint. We would be very happy if you inform us of this suspicion first, so that we can do something about it and correct any wrongdoing.
If you are a customer, we send you e-mails and SMS messages with inspiration, articles or products and services based on our legitimate interest.
If you are not yet a customer, we only send them to you on the basis of your consent. In either case, you can stop receiving our e-mails/SMS by pressing the unsubscribe link in each e-mail/SMS sent.
Please be assured that our employees and associates who will process your personal data are obliged to maintain the confidentiality of personal data and security measures, the disclosure of which would compromise the security of your personal data. This nondisclosure obligation shall continue even after the end of the contractual relationship with us. Your personal data will not be released to any other third party without your consent.
This personal data processing policy is valid from 7 July 2021.
